If you are here because someone said so (or you are here by accident) - Welcome! This site is my attempt to provide a place for the Differentiation Cadre members to access ideas, strategies, and resources. Most of the information you will find here is simply compiled from other sources - not very original on my part, but intended to save you some time and energy. Occasionally, ideas pop into my head that I feel compelled to share. In which case, the thinking is probably synthesized from various bits and pieces of information I read {my interpretation and likely not anything new or groundbreaking}.
For those visiting from the Curriculum/Methods class...
I would 'encourage' you to start with "The BIG Picture" - I used "Winnie" as an introduction to the Concept of Differentiation for PD.
The Lesson Planning Template corresponds to the strategies that will be posted in the Resources/Materials page on BlackBoard.
On the "Thinking Skills" page, please read (at least) the 1st article by Costa and take a look at the Iowa Core Curriculum (ESPECIALLY if you teach a specific subject area in Iowa - it was signed into Law!)
